A huge THANK YOU, to everyone who continues to support our fundraising efforts and to all the volunteers hosting such a fabulous range of events.

Gifts, donations, coffee mornings, events and the change collected in milk bottles have boosted the total raised by the end of  December 2018 to £44,923!  Thank you all.

The milk bottles are gradually coming back filled with much appreciated change; by January 2019 they’d raised £1,843 – all to prove that every penny counts!

Thank you to those who have returned their first bottles and then taken others to fill. If you have one in the kitchen – please share your change with it, and return it to the Parish Centre when it’s full!

The team have been busy planning the fundraisers for this year. We will be advertising these in as many publications, and places as we can – so keep a look out for the posters, and make sure you get your tickets early to avoid disappointment!!

We’re grateful to local businesses and individuals who help sponsor and organise our range of fund raising activities; thank you all.  Please see OUR BUSINESS SPONSORS page for more details.

Coming Up in 2019!

6th & 7th July – Alverstoke Garden Walkabout

We have 15 gardens open this year. The tickets will be £5 per adult (children <15 free) and will allow entry for both days. On the day, the Parish Centre will be open for tickets, tea and cake. To make this event a resounding success we will need good weather and a lot of help on both days. Many thanks to all of you who have volunteered time and cake – all offers of help are still very welcome.

28th September – Michaelmas Fayre

Enjoy a traffic free Alverstoke village for an afternoon packed with marching bands, 100 plus local organisations with stalls, plenty of food and drink, the village shops at the heart of Alverstoke, music in the church, and so much more.  A fabulous community atmosphere makes for a memorable event.  The day ends with a packed Community Concert drawing on a whole range of musicians in St.Mary’s Church from 7.00-9.00pm concluding with the wholehearted singing of ‘Not the Last Night of the Proms’. For more information click here.

8th October – Tea

19th October –  Autumn Concert with Paul Pilott, Louise Helyer & Friends

Paul Pilott, Louise Helyer & Friends invite you to join them in another of their popular concerts in St.Mary’s on 19th of October with a retiring collection for the new parish centre regeneration project. More details nearer the event.

From the Chair of the Fundraising Team…

We are especially appreciative of individual donations, and we will have some permanent record to commemorate the contribution from our community. Can you help us by making a donation?
You could set up a Standing Order – collect a letter from the Parish Centre – the standing order form is on the reverse. If you prefer to make a donation by cheque, please make it payable to the Alverstoke Parish Centre Regeneration Fund.

You’d be welcome to contact me for more information.
